GALAGEDIYANA ELLA

The Galagediyana Ella falls of Sri Lanka is one more such example of the ecstatic waterfalls of the country.
This waterfall is very close to Colombo can be reached off Dedigama-where the famous Kotavehera Dagoba is located. This mammoth veil of water is 35 feet high and like the Ravana Ella is again one of the widest falls in Lanka.
Literally Galagediyana means large number of stones and it is one of the widest falls in Sri LankaThe gracious flow of water amidst wilderness that carries with itself small rocks which create an obstacle in its path and flows down to form pools of water meandering later into silent streams-the virtual picture in itself seems to be a painting.
HOW TO VISIT:-
You can reach Galagediyana Ella through Dedigama, a place where the much famed Kotavehera Dagoba is situated.
